Uploading files to your webspace with FTP

As soon as you place a domain beneath a directory you will automatically be asked to create a password. This password enables you to access the FTP-Zone immediately, where you can administer your directories and files. By simply clicking on the respective domainname, you will be asked to log into the respective FTP-Zone of your Webspace. You can modify the password at any time by clicking on the key-symbol next to the domain name.

Access data for your FTP progam:

FTP-Servername: your domainname , or see direct IP address in your online panel
Port: 21
Username: yor domainname
Password: your defined password

We currently support unencrypted and encrypted (SSL) connections. When using encryption it is possible to use (explicit) SSL or TLS handshakes.

Please note: A file named index.html must be located in your webspace directory, this should be the first page of your website. Otherwise your Webspace-Domain cannot be reached in the Internet easily. If you configure your webspace for the first time, then the activation usually takes about 8-24 hours, to be reachable from all over the world.

In your FTP-Access you can create as many directories as you like. They will however NOT be displayed in your customer online interface but only in your FTP-access, if they are not associated with a domain name.
