Transfers

• .DE Transfers are possible. Upon successfully transfering a .DE domain, it is automatically renewed for one year.

• Please note that when a .DE Domain is transferred successfully, then the registration period starts from the beginning!

Transfer procedure

• When proceeding to the menue "Domaintransfer" on domaindiscount24.net you have the possibility of entering up to 14 domains at once (e.g. Paste and Copy).

• After having listed your domains, please enter your customer-id and password and press the submit button. The transfer form (KK-Antrag) will automatically be generated.

• Print the transfer form and send this to us, as well as your current provider/registrar. We also accept scanned forms, which are to be sent to support@domaindiscount24.com.

• The transfer request is normally processed on the same day we receive the signed form.

Transfer notes

• If possible, please inform your old provider prior to initiating the transfer, so that the transfer is not rejected.

• Double-check if the respective domain has already been paid for and that there are not any open issues with the old registrar

• Ensure that your respective domain does not have a lock-status (LOCK or HOLD). If your domain is locked, then the customer can demand that it be unlocked.

• The transfer is always initiated with the new provider / registrar.

• Start the transfer in time and not just shortly before the expiration date of your domain, because otherwise the transfer could fail.
